persone con epilessia. I salari pi\u00f9 bassi e lo stigma influiscono negativamente sulle condizioni di lavoro tra le persone con epilessia. Alcuni problemi continuano a ostacolare la ricerca e il mantenimento di un lavoro: limitazioni specifiche, cambiamenti e atteggiamenti dei datori di lavoro.<\/p><p>L&#8217;epilessia \u00e8 un disturbo multidimensionale, con diverse manifestazioni che compromettono le normali condizioni di lavoro.<\/p><p>Per scegliere il lavoro giusto \u00e8 necessario conoscere gli aspetti specifici della propria condizione medica (epilessia), per questo \u00e8 fondamentale un&#8217;autovalutazione, eseguita insieme al proprio medico che evidenzi le limitazioni legate alla patologia. Infatti, alcuni sintomi e segni sono specifici di alcune sindromi e tipi di epilessia.<\/p><p>Inoltre, nel fare domanda per un lavoro, andrebbe ben considerato il livello di istruzione raggiunto. L&#8217;obiettivo di questo modulo \u00e8 imparare a scegliere il lavoro giusto in base al livello di istruzione personale, ai rischi e alle limitazioni specifiche per le persone con epilessia nell&#8217;ambiente lavorativo. In particolare, esamineremo i punti di forza individuali, le restrizioni e i rischi legati a lavori specifici (utilizzo di macchinari speciali, guida di veicoli) e a specifici tipidi epilessia. Distingueremo, quindi, tra limitazioni &#8220;esterne&#8221; e &#8220;interne&#8221;. Ci concentreremo, ad esempio, su come su come comunicare l&#8217;epilessia al datore di lavoro e ai colleghi, quando richiesto o necessario.
